Spring Break

No student life is ever complete without experiencing at least one Spring Break down in Florida. So, the last year I spent in college my friends and I all went down in a road trip down to Florida, on a mission to enjoy and make the best out of our very last Spring Break.

The trip all the way to Florida would’ve been enough of an experience. My BMW packed with friends who, like me, have never had the desire to be surrounded by beer-guzzling classmates set out to Florida dead-set on chilling out and having fun like normal breathing teenagers. It started promising enough. Deciding to have a “practice run” for the actual Florida parties, one of my friends got some beer and downed it on the way. Of course combined motion sickness and a stomach not used to alcohol intake made my friend a nauseous, vomiting passenger, and my BMW a very sad and stinky interior. But then he slept, and the rest of the trip was good enough.

We arrived at Daytona at arounf 3:30 pm, and it was exactly as we imagined. Scenic beaches and breathtaking ocean nonwithstanding, we were still surrounded by drunken students from all over the country. My BMW was a sorry stinky car by then, so we left it at a car wash to get it stink-free, meaning: no escape pumpkin ride. The beach is dotted with parties and bodies. And we had enough. Once my car was fixed, my friends and I decided to have our own silly fun—

back in my BMW on the way home. LOL.

Such geeks we were that day. Still, we wouldn’t have done it any other way. College moments are always fun to look back to, no matter how stinky those moments are. Yes, pun intended, thankyouverymuch.
