The New FJ Cruiser

Toyota has been a leader in the auto industry in producing reliable vehicles. In fact, this is one of the reasons why the company is on the verge of becoming the world’s largest automaker.  The reliability of their vehicles is very attractive to car buyers.

In the United States auto market, the Japanese automaker has been drawing more and more car shoppers into their dealerships.  The reputation that the company has in producing really good cars with exemplary fuel economy has really impressed millions of auto buyers.

Recently, The Auto Channel reported that the automaker will launch the refreshed FJ Cruiser.  The report stated that for the first time, the FJ Cruiser will be available in a monotone white roof.  This is done to improve the aesthetic quality of the FJ Cruiser, not that it looks really bad.  The outside of the vehicle is of course is one of the many factors which car buyers consider before purchasing a vehicle.

On the inside, the Japanese automaker also created a better atmosphere.  Some of the features of the new FJ Cruiser includes “leather-trimmed steering wheel with audio controls, white color-keyed door trim and instrument panel trim, AM/FM six CD/nine-speaker audio system with MP3 player and 12-volt and 115-volt auxiliary power outlets”.

As for the pricing, The Auto Channel reported:  “The FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition will carry an MSRP of $4,755 over the $23,725 base price of the FJ Cruiser with a six-speed manual transmission with a 4.0-liter V6 engine and $5,110 over the $24,135 base price of the automatic transmission model with a 4.0-liter V6. MSRPs do not include a delivery, processing and handling fee of $685.”

Preparing Your Car For The Cold Season Courtesy Of AAA Michigan

The cold and chilling air continues to breathe inside and out of our throats and it is totally a nose-bleeder. But we can avoid these things by taking extra precautions during the frigid seasons. One thing we should also consider is our vehicle! Our car’s condition is in serious trouble if we don’t give the appropriate care and maintenance during this season.

But don’t you worry! Your vehicle’s engine and knock sensors will definitely endure the blistering cold with the help of AAA Michigan’s tips. Motorists can help maintain their vehicles on the road by performing the following task. Check it out below courtesy of The Auto Channel:

  • Defective batteries cause more car starting troubles than any other thing. A battery has 35 percent fewer starting power than in summer at 0 degrees. Battery power decreases 50 percent at less than 20. Have a load test done by a mechanic ff your battery is over three years old.
  • Let your car rest in the garage. Place a cover or tarpaulin all over the hood or park sheltered from current winds if you have no garage. Put a plastic trash container between the door or window glass and the frame to keep doors from icing shut.
  • Maintain at least half-full of gas in your tank to keep away from fuel-line freeze-up.
  • Look and purchase for lubricant offered in nearly all auto supply stores to keep away from frozen door locks.
  • Stay with your car if you happen to be snowed in. It gives outstanding safe haven from the cold and makes it trouble-free for rescuers to find you.
  • Run it only sufficiently to keep warm if you can turn on your engine Always be equipped with emergency supplies in the car, such as a cell phone, boots, hats, gloves, blankets, a “coffee can heater,” flashlight and reflective triangle.

Supercar DiMora Natalia SLS 2 to Feature HeatFlexx Heated Frameless Windshield Wiper

The production of the most expensive cars in the world begins with the selection of suppliers. Take for instance the $2 million worth supercar DiMora Natalia SLS 2 which is the world’s first ever car to choose the HeatFlexx heated frameless windshield wiper and offered as part of the standard equipment.

The HeatFlexx was first unveiled at the SEMA and AAPEX auto shows. This electrically-heated windshield wiper helps to melt ice and snow that builds up on the windshield.

DiMora Motorcar has also announced that it will start work on the Natalia SLS 2 sport luxury sedan which will be the world’s first ever $2 million production vehicle. Of course with such high price you would expect for it to feature loads of innovations that are rarely seen on other automobiles like for instance the variable-cylinder, aluminum DiMora Volcano V16 engine that produces 1200 horsepower. The car is also equipped with four easy to steer 24-inch wheels that run on innovative flat-free tires and chassis. It’s also given a lightweight body that makes use of aerospace composites and structures.

Over 50 computer systems control all the electronics including the latest state-of-the-art operational, navigational, computer, communication, and entertainment systems. Moreover, heating, ventilation, and the air condition will be controlled by each passenger. Also the parked car will be kept cool or warm for hours even with engine turned off. Other features include the unique beverage holders that can either heat or cool drinks depending on your preference.

The car also possesses features for the handicapped. Its front passenger seat slides to the right rotate 90 degrees and lower the passenger to the ground.
